THE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
The high school includes grades 9-12 in a comprehensive program which features a curriculum offering a wide range of academic, vocational and fine arts courses. The school year is comprised of 36 weeks divided into four nine week marking periods. Each day is divided into four equal blocks. A total of eight classes may be taken on alternating days. Block scheduling allows students to earn eight credits during the school year. Credit is awarded for each course with a grade of A, B, C, D. One half credit is granted for each course successfully completed per semester except for a few vocational courses which are granted credit by the year. The course offerings section provides descriptions of required and elective courses available.
